George Tippett
George Tippett is a senior financial and general manager and an entrepreneur. Alongside working as a business financial advisor to Legacy Concepts he is also currently Managing Director of Conidia Bioscience Ltd, a biotech company based in the UK. He has taken the company from an idea through to a highly profitable, multi-million- pound turnover organisation. Conidia now has a US subsidiary, of which he is also the President.
Previously, he acted as Finance and Administration Director for a specialist publishing house and an intergovernmental science research organization. Relevant financial management experience includes two years’ as the only uniformed budget manager in the UK’s Army of the Rhine, responsible for the management of its £55M annual training budget disbursed in Europe and North America.
His experience includes the first ten years of Conidia’s existence, before a part-time FD was contracted, when the operation of and responsibility to the Board for all aspects of finance, including: running the company’s accounts (originally on Sage now Xero), producing, reporting against and achieving annual budgets, managing the cash flow and the FX contracts (90% of Conidia’s income is in USD), sales account management including credit control and debt recovery.
